The Mona Lisa Bakery Is a wonderful Italian bakery located in Brooklyn that produces handmade Italian bread, cookies, cakes and pastries. Almond torrone, fig cookies and cannolies from their great grandfathers recipe (with the cream shipped in a pastry bag for filling when you receive them). Ricotta cheese cake, brick oven breads, focaccia and a meat pie made only for the holidays that’s filled with cheese’s and meats. Oh Danish Bakery I look forward to receiving these every year at Christmas time from my brother and sister-in-law. Since most Danish Kringle's are made in Racine Wisconsin there are only a couple of places you can order from and this is one. I always receive two, 12 inch in diameter Danish Kringle's. One raspberry and one almond. They are simply delicious, not overly sweet, buttery, Danish Baked goods. These freeze wonderfully. Just slice off what you want and put it in the toaster oven until the sugars on top are bubbly. Also available are a Danish bread pudding, poppy seed torte, which I haven’t yet tried, and a lot more.
